On April 1, the draw for the FIFA World Cup 2022 was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in Qatar. The tournament will be held in Qatar. Cafu (Brazil), Lothar Matthaus (Germany), Adel Ahmed MalAllah (Qatar), Ali Daei (Islamic Republic of Iran), Bora Milutinovic (Serbia/Mexico), Jay-Jay Okocha (Nigeria), Rabah Madjer (Algeria), and Tim Cahill (Australia) were the people in charge of supervising it (Australia).

Group A includes the countries of Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, and the Netherlands
The first match of the group that will host the 2022 World Cup will take place in Qatar at the Al Bayt Stadium. Ecuador and the host country, Qatar, will be the two teams competing in the tournament.
This group contains both the Netherlands, who have been in the World Cup finals three times, and Senegal, who won the African Cup of Nations in 2021. In this group, Liverpool teammates Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk, who will face off against one another, will be competing against one another.
The United Kingdom and the Irish Republic are members of Group B. United States of America, Iran, and Wales
The country that came in second place at EURO 2020, England, will compete against Wales as part of a group that also includes the United States of America and Iran. England will also face off against the United States.
Harry Kane, who has scored 49 goals for England and is now tied for second place all-time in that category, will go to Qatar with the Three Lions with the hopes of overtaking Wayne Rooney, who has scored 53 goals for England, and collecting a significant trophy on the international stage.
Group C — Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland
Both Lewandowski and Messi will be competing for their respective nations in the group stage, therefore the matchup between Argentina and Poland will be a showdown between two of the best attackers in the game: Messi and Lewandowski. The last time that these two teams faced each other in World Cup competition was in 1978, which also happened to be the year that Argentina won its very first World Cup.
Tunisia, France, Australia, and Denmark are the countries that make up Group D
The 2018 World Cup champion, France, was drawn into a group with the runner-up, Denmark, as well as the tournament’s eventual champion, Australia. For the second World Cup event in a row, France’s group will consist of Denmark as one of their opponents.
The nations of Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, and Japan make up the membership of Group E
A replay of the World Cup semifinal that Spain and Germany contested in the previous edition will take place during the group stage of the 2010 World Cup. The match will take place between Spain and Germany. Both Spain and Germany have been victorious in the World Cup five times between them.
At addition to Japan, a team that pushed Belgium to the brink of elimination in the world championships four years ago, Costa Rica is now a part of this group.
Group F — Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia
Belgium and Croatia, both from Europe, are regarded to be heavyweight teams in this group for the FIFA World Cup; yet, Canada is still believed to be a dark horse in this group.
Luka Modric will compete against Thibaut Courtois, who is also a member of his club side, and Canada will aim to get out of the group stage so that it can do better than it did in the last competition.
Group G is made up of four different countries: Cameroon, Brazil, and Serbia. Switzerland rounds out the group
Since Brazil, Switzerland, and Serbia were all assigned to the same group for the previous version of the competition, it should come as no surprise that they will be competing against one another in the same group.
In the event that Brazil is successful in their quest to win an international championship in the very near future, Neymar will be the one to lead the charge for their team. In the finals of the Copa America the year before, Brazil’s opponent, Argentina, was victorious.
Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea are the nations that make up the other members of Group H.
Since Portugal, Uruguay, Ghana, and the Republic of Korea are all going to be participating in the same group, all of the top players, including Luis Suarez, Edson Cavani, and Cristiano Ronaldo, will be playing for their respective national teams.
This location is going to play home to a plethora of competitive situations. Early on in the campaign, Uruguay will face Portugal and Ghana, two teams who have been eliminated from contention by Uruguay in previous iterations of the championship. Both Portugal and Ghana were eliminated by Uruguay in their respective competitions in 2010 and 2018.
